Decay was a part of the show Nothing Island shown at Flux Factory on Governors Island in October 2023.

Decay consisted of a 3D PLA model of Castle Williams that sat on a constantly shaking platform. If the button was held, the shaking would stop. Participants could hold the button or try to re-assemble the model.

The work functioned as a commentary on the human urge to prevent decay even when it’s inevitable.
